Hello friends! Happy New Year to all. I am excited to be getting this work up on the walls of the beautiful KingstonArts Gallery, G3 Space, 64 Parkers Rd, Parkdale, opening night 6pm this Feb 22!!! See below for details.
It's big deal guys, as it's been awhile between shows and this is BRAND NEW work. That is, work produced between 2015 - 2017. I have been in a space of experimentation, exploring and developing my subject and processes for these large format archival pigment prints on photo rag paper.
The exhibition will show works grouped in themes that depict the places captured; namely wild old growth forests, remnant virgin forests and fire ravaged mountains. I have curated this collection of images to weave a sensory and emotive experience; enter a story of the forest which I hope will speak to you.
The good news is that if you can't make it to the opening the exhibition dates are from FEB 23 to MARCH 25. Kingston G3 Space Opening Hours are WEDNESDAY-FRIDAY; 9AM-5PM / SATURDAY; 12PM-5PM. You can get there on the Frankston line, hop off at Parkdale and it's a 2 minute walk. Let your head go and have a swim at the beach afterwards!
